Welcome to the REVITALIZE Cleanse Program!

I created this 30-day cleanse program back in 2010 in order to get my health back. I had just overcome colorectal cancer, surgery, and was living with Crohn’s disease.

I wanted to get my health back. In fact, I needed to get my health back. Not only my physical health, but my mental health as well.

I wanted to thrive. I wanted to radiate the gratitude I felt from being alive and to truly start living my life to the fullest.

 

Six years later, hundreds of people from all over the world have taken part in the program and  the number of people who are healthier and happier keeps growing!

PILLAR #1: NUTRITION

“Let thy food be thy medicine” – Hippocrates

By increasing your intake of whole nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables, high-fibre foods, and proper hydration you will quickly see and feel the difference! During this program be prepared to see a multitude of colors on your plate, especially GREEN! Get excited about salads, smoothies, and juicing (if you don’t have a juicer, do not worry, there will be plenty of recipes for you!).

The main points about the nutrition pillar are:

  • Emphasizing whole nutritious foods such as; fruits, vegetables, lots of greens, salads, fresh juices, smoothies, raw foods, plant-based recipes, fibrous foods, whole gluten-free grains, and a whole lot of love!
  • Abstaining from sugar, dairy, gluten, alcohol, coffee, and red meat in order to promote cellular regeneration and healing of inflammatory responses in your body. Not to mention working towards changing your relationship to the addictive power of sugar in order for you to choose healthy options will leave you empowered and with a sweet-as body!
  • Hydration: Drinking fresh water and herbal teas in order to re-hydrate our cells and flush out toxins.

Whether you have been telling yourself that you would start exercising again or hit the gym at 6am every morning, moving your body is a crucial part of this program. Get moving in any way, shape, or form that tickles your fancy! From taking a brisk walk, playing with your kids, trying a Cross-Fit class, or trying a yoga class, have fun, bring oxygen to your body, and detoxify!

 In addition to taking action to move your body, you will be encouraged to take actions by completing exercises, having conversations that will open up your self-expression, and doing the things you say you will do when you say you will do it. Action is key in order to get the results that you desire!

I was introduced to Melissa in June 2015 after leaving my job of 11 years.  I began coaching sessions with her and as part of my session package was offered a free opportunity to join the REVITALIZE Cleanse Program.  

I was ready to run the other way when I first heard of all the things I would need to eliminate for 30 days…yikes!  

I had rehearsed in my mind all the things I could tell Melissa as to why I wouldn’t be taking advantage of this free offer, until…..

The day I decided to go out for a bike ride and listen to the recording of Melissa’s REVITALIZE Cleanse Introduction.  Something clicked with me while riding and listening that day, she said;

 “You deserve to live the life that you love”.  

I was the heaviest I’d ever been and needing something to get me started on my health and wellness journey.  

I’m an all or nothing kind of girl and after listening to Melissa’s recording that day I decided that I was ALL IN, what did I have to loss besides weight?

The cleanse quickly approached and my fears subsided.  

Melissa did a great job of setting us up for success and she was right there with us each step of the way.  The Facebook group we had for support was wonderful. Not only was Melissa available and attentive to our questions and concerns, the entire group came together to offer support and encouragement, shared new recipes, and picked each other up if someone fell “off the wagon” that day!  

We weren’t expected to be perfect and we did make some mistakes but the judgement free zone that was our Facebook group was amazing and helped each of us stay on track and honest about what we were putting into and getting out of the program.

I lost 15 lbs during the 30 day program and it propelled me to continue my weight loss journey and healthy, happy living. 

Overall I have lost a total of 24 lbs and am so excited for the next program to begin May 1st!  If you are considering joining the program, just do it!  Trust me, you will thank yourself.
